The esports organization Furious Gaming, together with FITCHIN, is launching the first edition of League of Legends 1v1 amateur tournaments with big prizes.
Furious Gaming, Argentina's renowned professional esports organization, continues to work alongside FITCHIN to bring a new entertainment experience to the gaming community.
From the union between Furious Gaming and FITCHIN, “Duelos Furiosos x FITCHIN '' has emerged, a 1v1amateur League of Legends tournament aimed at the Furious Gaming community and the gaming audience at large.
Thanks to events like this, users can not only enjoy an esports event, but also capitalize on the space to improve their gaming skills or practice for tournaments they plan on competing in.
The tournament, slated for Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, will have an $800 USD prize pool. The competition will feature 128 slots for players who live in the Riot Games #LAS region, i.e., Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru.
Contenders can register now on the Battlefy platform. The faceoffs will take place on the League of Legends Summoner's Rift map. On the first day of competition, the first five rounds will be played, whittling the competitors down from 128 to just eight. On the second day, the quarterfinals, semifinals and grand finals will take place. The last three stages will feature best-of-three matches, while the first day’s rounds will be single-game knockouts.
Duelos Furiosos x FITCHIN will be broadcast on the Furious Gaming channel starting at 17:00 Argentina time, with renowned streamer duo Kronopia and Zombyra as the event’s casters.
Starting with the next edition, Furious Duels participants will be able to immerse themselves in the Web3 world by registering through the updated FITCHIN platform, where they can create a unique username and sign up for their favorite competitions through the new “Tournaments” section.
